Buick Riviera for hire in Gauteng
Hire this Buick Riviera for your event
What is a Buick Riviera? Well simply put, Buick is the second most expensive brand ( to Cadillac) in the General Motors product line up. As such high end cars like Buick, Cadillac, Lincoln and Chrysler/Imperial were the American equal to Mercedes, Jaguar etc in Europe. Riviera was the flagship model for Buick from . It started as an upmarket trim option for Buicks from 1949, becoming its own flagship model in 1963. The name was derived from the French Riviera, a tourist destination of note, for any well heeled American.
Regards the specific car highlighted here, it is an original km documented survivor, that is a time warp to late 70s, early 80s Americana. Vehicle was built in February 1981 in Linden, New Jersey (a very famous plant in its own right), and was sold new into Old Mill, Toronto, Ontario ,hence the kilometres and not miles. It was privately imported into South Africa a year later, and has had very few owners. Since it was sold new by Old Mill Buick-Pontiac it is affectionately known as "Milly".
